Count Your Blessings...

It's been a while since a last time put my Count Your Blessings... Lp in my record player. Seeing the band who recorded one hell of a album full of crazy melodies fused with hardcore heavy as it could crush a brickwall, was one of best memories i have when it comes shows. Agents Of Man from (suprise, suprise) New Jersey, we're truly fucking amazing and full of energy on the stage, but also they were cool and nice fellas. You might have heard a song from AOM's debut full-length, Count Your Blessing... and if so you at least should know how own style of music they have created. But aside the full-length they did a EP, that is titled AOM 01EP in, as you can figure out, year 2001. I got my hands on the EP lots later when i had already become addicted to the record and i gotta say that the EP is equally good shit. Also few things about this band is that they have quite impressive member history, they know what they're doing and where are they coming from. With members from Sworn Enemy, Cold As Life and the one, the only: Bulldoze you really can't make bad music, can you? Another chapter here is vocalist George "Puda", who has really amazing vocal range, from furious scream to sweet melodic singing. I don't know if many people get into this kinda metallic stuff that's so hard, but still same time so melodic -anyways i digged the record a lot when it came out and still do. Today they are searching for a new singer, not that clear why Puda isn't going to sing for them anymore tho'. But good luck to the band, cause i want to see them play live again, that's for sure. Here's few tracks that they have downloadable also in their MySpace (official homepage seems to be down), i won't put the whole record or EP up because both are still steadily available and easy to find. This is solid shit, so if you haven't heard these guys, well do it right now.

AOM 01EP repress is available pretty cheap, (only 5$) straight from OTR Records and Count Your Blessings should be in nearly every record store that is selling Century Media's releases, so i'm sure that won't be that hard to find.... unless you're after the vinyl. No worries, vinyl version is still found on Filled With Hate: here, Alveran and Goodlife both do carry the album and lGoodlife has also the EP. Buy this shit, it is fucking great, nuff said.

Sadly, I think they're done, I don't think they're really looking for a singer. Amazing band, though. One of my favorites of the last decade without a doubt. Fuck the haters.

Did you ever hear Train of Thought or Elements DEC (both pre-AOM)? Both bands were equally excellent on every level. I've been ranting and raving about Train of Thought's excellence for damn near a decade now, and I totally lost it the first time I heard Elements DEC as well. I was trying to release an Elements DEC discography CD, and would still love to do it, but I'm not sure it can ever happen at this point...

I've heard Train Of Thougth mcd, but haven't found it anywhere available, it seems that it's pretty rare too. Haven't heard Elements DEC ever, do they have any www (or myspace) still up? Didn't Fahrenheit 451 also feature some guys that were later in AOM too?
